On today’s show, Liv reviews two awesome new picture books. And we chat to a CBCA Gold Medallist all about her author journey. It’s gunna be huge.

Today’s guest is an author, nature lover and intrepid adventurer. She has worked as a professional writer and marketer, with diverse communities across three continents, for over 20 years.

In search of extraordinary stories, she has climbed inside Icelandic glaciers, entered war-torn countries, and interviewed African dignitaries in a paddock full of eeyoring donkeys!

In her spare time, she does cartwheels with her two children and searches for platypus in the rivers near her home in Eltham, Australia.

She is also the 2023 winner of the CBCA Early Childhood Book of the Year Award for her picture book Where the Lyrebird lives. And, she’s popped in today to chat all about her epic author journey. Everybody please welcome the amazing, Vikki Conley.
