HELLO EMMA MEMMA
Emma Watkins is a dancer, filmmaker, and picture book author.
Her career began at the early age of three with Irish, ballet, hip hop, tap and contemporary dance. Apart from dancing, she has completed her master’s degree in Media Arts and Communication and has a passion for sign language and raising awareness of Australia’s Deaf community.
This has led to her passing on a very prestigious yellow skivvy, and creating a brand-new character that is set to empower the next generation through visual communication, movement, creativity, inclusiveness, and friendship. All the things we love in a good picture book, so please welcome to the podcast, Emma Watkins.
