Writing and Illustrating Junior Fiction – interview with Kylie Howarth
Today’s guest is an author/illustrator who began her foray into children’s books with picture books such as 1,2 Pirate Stew, Fishjam and onto the cheeky, chip stealing seagull Chip, and Chip the Lifeguard, before moving into junior fiction and writing about her love of the ocean with the incredible Fish Kid series. And to tell us all about her amazing journey, it’s the awesome, sea-creature loving, underwater adventurer extraordinaire from the beaches of Western Australia, Kylie Howarth. Woo-hooo!
Our second guest today is another picture book author with a beautiful book right on target for Christmas. It’s titled, Star. And to tell us all about it, please welcome Artelle Lenthall.
