Elizabeth Pulsford entered a competition and is now a published author

But Why? Tacos podcast

Today’s special guest is a high school English and Performing Arts teacher who answered a call to be a published author.

The caller, Ethicool. A publisher of picture books, Ethicool put out the call for their very first author competition. “We’ve got an Illustrator and illustrations, we need an author.”

Thousands of entries later, hundreds of hours shortlisting, over 5000 votes were cast, and a winner was announced. The story was matched to the illustrations, the books printed, and the exciting news is, they are in stores across the country as we speak.

And, joining us today is the winning author, whose name you’ll see on the book, to tell us all about the book and her author journey, please welcome Elizabeth Pulsford.
